Ingredients
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: 1 tbsp chocolate chips or peanut butter
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
2. Stir in milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Fold in chocolate chips or peanut butter if desired.
4. Microwave on high for 70–90 seconds, until the cake rises and looks set.
5. Cool for 1 minute before serving with your favorite toppings.
